Kinsley is a beautiful, bright 3-year-old little girl with a strong sense of humor. She was born full term at 37 weeks but required a short stay in the NICU due to breathing issues. Kinsley was healthy for the most part until she started having unexplained feeding issues, unexplained diarrhea, unexplained vomiting, and to always be told it was NOTHING made my mom heart hurt. I think we spent days, if not months, in and out of hospitals, doctor offices, and ERs.

When I finally got a second opinion from another GI specialist for her feeding and GI issues, things came to light. I had to fight her primary doctor to see a lung specialist, even after tons of respiratory problems. Today, I have a 3-year-old who has had 3 hospitalizations and a handful of ER visits for these issues! As a parent of a special needs kiddo, I have learned to keep pushing even if it means going to another location for answers!
