A HLHS & Trisomy 18 Angel

Kaydence Magnolia has been a miracle from the beginning. After 15 years of infertility and so many years of prayer, we found out about Kaydence. Our entire family was so excited to welcome this sweet girl into our world. When we received her diagnosis, we chose to hold onto hope. We enjoyed every moment as she grew and proved all the doctors wrong. Making it to 37 weeks and 1 day, she was born in the most peaceful birth.

Our amazing warrior lived for 87 days, continuing to prove to all the medical staff that despite what it said in her medical file, she was compatible with life and love. She captured the hearts of all the staff with her love of “spa” days and dressing up fancy.

She always had a bow on her head, and we made a tradition of handing out Hershey Kisses, “Kisses from Kaydence.”

Though Kaydence is no longer here on earth with our family, her big impact continues to live on. We will continue to share all the “kisses” we can and make her proud. Our girl loved her bamboo jammies, and I continue to buy them for my older children as well.
