"Mia was born July 31, 2019 weighing 3 lbs 4oz. At 3 days old she was diagnosed with Trisomy 18. She had her first heart surgery at 2 weeks old because her lungs began to flood due to her large VSD. She then went home to grow and had open heart surgery at 4 months old in December 5, 2019. She had a G-tube placed March 2020, but now is a primarily oral eater, we are still working on her liquids. She does all kinds of therapies, PT, OT, feeding, speech, aquatic, chiropractor and others. She is learning to walk, crawl, and do so many amazing things.
