Wyatt
An Autism Warrior
Wyatt is our bright and beautiful 10-year-old son. At two years old, we started early intervention because he was delayed in speech and social skills. After 2 years of speech and occupational therapy, countless doctor appointments, and numerous evaluations, he was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. He has since also received diagnoses of anxiety, receptive and expressive speech disorder, and global developmental delay. He has made incredible gains in all areas over the last eight years through speech, OT, aquatic OT, ABA, early intervention, and equestrian therapy.
Wyatt attends a private school for children with autism. He has made phenomenal progress there, thanks to the amazing teachers and therapists. He is a wonderful big brother to his little brother, Wilder, and little sister, Wrenley. He is kind and funny. He sleeps with his teddy bear (appropriately named “Bear”) each night and loves Mickey Mouse and the Gingerbread Man. Wyatt loves to dance and can recite movies, shows, and books from memory. He brings such immense joy to those around him, and we are forever thankful that the Lord chose us to raise him.
Wyatt brings us so much joy and continually amazes us! We love him so much and our Friday nights together are so special❤️❤️❤️
