A Hirschsprung's Disease Warrior

JosieMae was diagnosed with Hirschsprung's disease after failing to pass meconium at birth, resulting in an emergency surgery at 12 hours old. She came out of the surgery with an ostomy. After a tough 6 months, she went back for another surgery, resulting in her losing 1/3 of her colon due to ganglion cells. She is now fully recovered from surgery but still fighting dehydration, enterocolitis, and frequent stooling. JosieMae is incredibly resilient through every hospital stay and tough day; she remains cheerful.
