A Juvenile Myelomonocytic Leukemia Warrior

Josie was diagnosed with juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia JMML at just five months old. Over the next 470 days, she endured nearly 400 doses of chemotherapy, at least 14 life-saving transfusions, 78 inpatient days, countless clinic visits, and 9 trips to the operating room. Along the way, she spent thousands of hours in hospital rooms and waiting areas, facing each challenge with incredible strength and joy.

Thankfully, Josie's story has a happy ending. On June 2, she rang the bell to celebrate the end of her cancer treatment. We are honored to share her story and celebrate the resilience, courage, and hope that she represents.
