A Severe Ebstein's Anomaly Angel

Emmett was born on September 1st, 2023, with severe Ebstein's anomaly and spent his entire life in an inpatient setting. He had his first procedure at 5 weeks old and was ready for his Glenn around 7 months old. Unfortunately, after his Glenn procedure, his body did not tolerate the new blood flow, and we transferred him from St. Louis Children's Hospital in Missouri to Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, Texas. His collateral burden caused by CM-AVM2 became so severe that he was ineligible for a heart transplant. Unfortunately, Emmett passed away on 09/01/24. He loved his Laree + Co pajamas so much. The Halloween checkered PJs were his first outfit he was able to wear after having his chest closed post-Starnes. He and his brother always wore their matching red fox jammies. My only dream is to keep his story alive and share it with anyone I can!
