“I had the most perfect pregnancy, which was very uncommon for me, I had no sickness and no scares. Never had any hospital stays or out of normal dr visits until nearly 40 weeks, I went in due to lack of movement.. but little Logan checked out just fine. I couldn’t help but feel something was just off. I spent the next day (a friday) trying to get ahold of my midwife as I didn’t feel comfortable going over my due date as his movements were still worrisome.. While it’s normal I was going for a vbac and he was measuring ahead and just felt off to me. I finally got her on the phone and She said we’d talk Tuesday at my apt about inducing that night...
Saturday night came and I had no movement at all, I figured he was just asleep and put off going in becusse we thought we had covid (we didn’t, just a nasty cold) then the next morning still no movement.. by the early afternoon I went in to be checked at the local hospital (not the one My OB or midwife worked at) again figuring he was just extra tired... 2 nurses tried, no one could find him for the NST.. I was in such denile and figured he was in a weird spot.. the dr came and did an ultrasound... just to find no heart beat or brain activity... our sweet boy was gone... our 4th little boy..
the dr found while delivering him he had a very tight true knot and was very wrapped in the cord. he was and still is so loved and missed each and every day.
His oldest brother tells us all the time that Logan is dancing on the moon and “flying like a bird through the stars”.. this print perfectly shows where our little Logan is spending his days according to his big brothers💙” -Logan’s mama, Rachel
